  • Question: What is the meaning of a qualifying degree?
  • Answer: The qualifying degree is the Bachelor’s Degree (for example B.Pharm) for candidates applying for Master’s Programmes. It is a Master’s Degree (for example M.Pharm) for the candidates applying for Ph.D.

  • Question: I have qualified GPAT/GATE/NET in 2022/2023. Do I need to appear for the GPAT/GATE/NET again in 2024 to be eligible to apply for NIPER JEE 2024?
  • Answer: Candidates who qualified GPAT/GATE/NET in 2022/2023 with a valid scorecard for two/three years no need to appear for the same in 2024 to be eligible to apply for NIPER JEE 2024. Candidates who are going to appear in 2024, will be provisionally allowed to appear for NIPER JEE 2024 and they must produce the valid scorecard at the time of the counselling.

  • Question: When applying for a Ph.D., is a valid scorecard of GPAT/GATE/NET required?
  • Answer: When applying for a Ph.D., a valid scorecard of GPAT/GATE/NET is not required. However, candidates must be qualified in any of the above entrance examinations, and need to produce the scorecard of the same during the application process.

  • Question: Can I apply for both Session I and Session II?
  • Answer: Yes, candidates can apply for both Session I and Session II by filling out separate application forms or combined application form for both sessions (M.S./M.Pharm./MBA+M.TECH. PROGRAMMES – SESSION I & II).

  • Question: Candidates currently pursuing 4th year of their Bachelor’s Degree can apply for NIPER JEE 2024?
  • Answer: Candidates currently pursuing 4th year of their Bachelor’s Degree can apply and appear for NIPER JEE 2024. However, candidate should submit qualified degree certificate with prescribed percentage or CGPA within the stipulated period provided by the respective NIPERs after provisional admission. Failing to submit will automatically cancel the provisional admission.
